Dignidad: California Domestic Workers' Journey for Justice will be screening at The Reel Work! Labor Film Festival on May 1st at 7pm. Click here to learn about how to register.

Dignidad follows community organizers, activists and legislators during the COVID-19 pandemic as they advocate for equal workplace protections for over 300,00 California domestic workers not protected by CalOSHA health and safety regulations. It's UC Davis EHSC's second collaboration with Emmy-award winning documentary filmmaker Paige Bierma.

The Reel Work May Day Labor Film Festival takes place in California's central coast communities in and around Santa Cruz each year during the week of May 1st.  Reel Work presents cultural events, bringing together award-winning documentary film producers, workers, activists, students, and the public with the goal of increasing community awareness of the central role of work in our lives, to discuss economic and global justice issues, and to bring alive the history and culture of the labor movement in the US and abroad.
