From Pilot to Progress Fueling bold ideas in environmental health sciences
The UC Davis EHSC pilot projects program provides funding to advance innovative environmental health sciences research. These competitive awards support investigators tackling emerging and high-priority questions at the intersection of environment and human health. Pilot projects are a primary engine for discovery within the UC Davis EHSC community. The pilot projects program funds researchers who are: early stage investigators in environmental health sciences; established investigators new to environmental health sciences; or established environmental health sciences investigators exploring substantially new research directions in a relevant field. Any investigator eligible to take on sponsored research in accordance with UC Davis policy can submit a concept letter which includes a 300-word abstract, applicant details, and an NIH biosketch.
