Applied Biostatistics Seminar Series for Translational Researchers

What is this series about? Who should attend?
This year-long seminar series will encompass a broad range of topics relevant to clinical and translational investigators. Initial seminars will cover the basics of statistical tests and study design, while later seminars will provide more in-depth instruction on the design of and analyses for a particular study type, including pilot studies, clinical trials, animal studies, case-control studies, prospective studies and observational or retrospective studies. Statistical procedures will be illustrated with SAS statistical software.
Who should attend?
This series is suitable for clinical or translational scientists/scholars in any biomedical or health-related field at the faculty, postdoc, resident or student levels. No prior statistical knowledge is assumed.
